Alexander McQueen's New Bag Gets Our Seal of Approval

Arriving in a compact size for the new season.

It’s not often that modern-day icons are born, but Alexander McQueen‘s latest offering certainly has the potential. Dubbed “The Seal Small Bag,” the House’s new design draws upon the seal emblem, based on the Tudor rose and takes inspiration from the natural beauty of the world around us.

Crafted with a signature McQueen splice (reminiscent of the recent Slash Bag and numerous pieces from the House’s SS23 and FW23 collections) the new bag follows its predecessor and arrives in plush quilted leather, complete with an adjustable leather and chain shoulder strap and cut-out metal McQueen closure.

Landing in a more compact size for the FW23 season, the small bag arrives in four distinct colorways of “Ivory,” “Dust,” “Black” and “Blood Red.” Continuing the design’s central theme of curves, the bag boasts soft round edges and curved lines throughout its main body. The Seal Small Bag can also be worn on the shoulder or as a crossbody style.

Take a look at the new arrival above and head to Alexander McQueen’s website to shop the compact silhouette.

In other news, Jonathan Anderson’s wackiest designs take center stage at his debut exhibition.
