Releasing September 26, BLOOM taps its well-loved voice actors for BLOOM Chat: an immersive AI-audio experience that channels the art of role-play. With this new feature, BLOOM users seeking audio pleasure can “create their own erotica that is tailored to them, in the form of customised text messages and voice recordings,” revealed the brand’s sex educator Suzannah Weiss.
“The characters are very respectful and affirming of your desires, which could make this function helpful for people who are overcoming sexual trauma, relationship abuse or body image issues. It provides an example of what a positive sexual interaction looks like,” she continued. In fact, after sampling the new feature, Weiss “left the conversation with [her] chosen character feeling uplifted and excited to try out some of the fantasies we discussed with a live person.”
Just as one would slide into another’s DM’s, users can select their hopeful playmate, which is an AI-bot informed by their fav voice actor. This allows users to not only take control of their pleasure but become a part of the story — what better way to get you off. “The AI models powering the characters have been trained to ensure they authentically represent the charm, personality and language style of their audio story characters, whether it’s charming ranch hand Rob, strict German Professor Roman or intriguing vampires Lena and Malcolm.”
A common concern with the integration of AI into pleasure is the ethicality and erasure of real sex workers. In solidarity of these performers, BLOOM enlisted the help of its erotic voice actors to inform the AI system as part of their paid work.
