According to Today, Jonas filed for divorce after four years of marriage. Rumors of the relationship’s end began to circulate just days before the divorce announcement was released. Anonymous sources shared that Jonas has been focusing primarily on the children, one of whom was just born last year. The divorce filing states that the “marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”

However, on September 6, Jonas and Turner released a joint statement via Instagram to debunk rumors. “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” they wrote. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy.”
