Little Simz Returns to the Runway for Miu Miu SS25
Joined by Alexa Chung, Amelia Gray and Willem Dafoe.
Miu Miu presented its Spring/Summer 2025 collection during Paris Fashion Week, transporting guests once again to its home at Palais D’Iena. Continuing the brand’s relationship with groundbreaking women across all disciplines, this season featured a collaboration with artist Goshka Macuga, who created an installation for the showcase and a short film which played at the start.
Alongside Macuga’s installation, the artist created “The Truthless Times,” a physical newspaper which explores themes of truth, misinformation and manipulation. Exploring “how women see themselves” and the female gaze, the collection fused Miu Miu’s resort-inspired spirit with the house codes, merging contemporary summer with a classic twist.

WHO: Nara Smith, Addison Rae, Camila Cabello, Olivia Dean and Petra Collins were among some of the names in the audience this season, while Little Simz returned to the runway alongside Hilary Swank, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung and Amelia Gray, with Willem Dafoe closing the show.
WHERE: For SS25, Miu Miu returned to its Parisian second home of Palais d’Iena, complete with an installation by Macuga.
SEE: Resort-inspired looks evolved the brand’s previous season collections, with hues of navy blue arriving on spaghetti tank tops and dresses. Layered T-shirts, polo tops and vests were paired with flowing white skirts, elevated by silver peep-toe shoes and colorful socks. Cropped and short-sleeved track jackets, risque cut-out swimsuits and ruffled hot pants were layered with mini trenches and raincoats, alongside oversized bags and double belts.
HEAR: The showcase began with a short film by Macuga, whose poignant dialogue filled the room. Following the film, the runway show was soundtracked by twinkling trance music.
TOUCH: Silky skirts, shiny shoes and exaggerated layering helped to discern this season’s textures, manipulating fabrics through knots, twists and ruching. Delicate skirts and dresses were paired with heavier knits, while summer sandals were worn alongside crinkled patent jackets and co-ordinates.
TASTE: Key takeaways from Miu Miu’s SS25 include the fact that polo tops are going nowhere fast, swimwear can and should be sexy and as always: layering is key.
