Brooks and Saturdays NYC Collaborate on a City-Inspired Sneaker

The revamped version of the Ghost 16 combines classic elements of New York City with nature-derived details.

Taking creative cues from the city that never sleeps, the Ghost 16 road running shoes by Brooks and Saturdays NYC releases November 14. Inspired by New York City’s classic cityscapes and the organic textures found in nature, from geometric water patterns to topographical maps, the Ghost 16 sneaker silhouette dives into the duality of urban life and the great outdoors.

In collaboration with Saturdays NYC, Brooks updates its best-selling shoe, the Ghost 16, aiming the sporty silhouette at avid runners.. Saturdays NYC, an apparel and lifestyle brand based in New York City, adds its unique touch to the model through reflective elements on the laces and heels as an ode to NYC’s man-made architecture and the city’s animated nightlife.

“We are very excited to collaborate with Saturdays NYC as they put their spin on one of our top performance styles in the Ghost 16,” Carlos Barrios, Brooks Senior Lifestyle Footwear Merchandiser, says. “The resulting two silhouettes feel authentic to both brands, while merging performance and fashion to suit any occasion.”

Aside from pushing performance features to the fore, style and sport meet in the Ghost 16, with two custom colorways for runners. Neutral earthy tones appear in the Pristine/Gray/White and Gray/Fondue/Black colorways, available in both men’s and women’s sizing. Priced at $165 USD, capture the essence of city living with the Ghost 16.

Head over to the Saturdays NYC official site and Brooks Running official website to show the new collaborative effort or shop in stores starting November 14.
