LOEWE FW24 Presents a Blooming Paradise

Jonathan Anderson presented his Fall/Winter 2024 collection for LOEWE at Paris Fashion Week this season, drawing inspiration from the works of American artist Albert York. Tapping into York’s signature florals, this season’s showcase was held in an iconic Parisian venue against a backdrop of 18 paintings, depicting blooming scenes of floral paradise.

Agriculture-inspired silhouettes paraded down the runway, elevated by Anderson’s usual quirkiness which manifests through surrealist designs, ultra-tactile fabrics and voluminous shapes. Roses, daisies and tulips appeared in bloom on dresses, shirts and ballooning pants, whilst typical grocery items graced co-ordinating sets of tops and trousers.

Elsewhere, FW24 utilized motifs of eagles, dogs and birds, translating into furry fabrics, sculptural shapes and ombre color palettes. Completing this season’s nature-inspired looks, models appeared with trimmed pixie cuts which featured hints of blue, green and red.

While seemingly a sombre affair in comparison to Anderson’s vibrant colors, pop art-like footwear and fantastical shapes, FW24 presents a look at the inner workings of an artist, continuing to cement the brand’s burgeoning relationship with the world of art.
