Cult-loved lifestyle and activewear brand Sporty & Rich has filed for a steamy new trademark – in the sexual wellness space.

In July of 2024, Sporty & Rich Instagram followers noticed cheeky hints on the brand’s account. Shortly after, news broke that founder Emily Oberg filed for the trademark “Sensual Sport.”

According to WWD, “The trademark was filed for products including supplements, sex toys, bags, jewelry, essential oils for personal use, clothing (underwear), entertainment and educational services and more. The application is currently live and pending.” Yes you read that correctly, not only products, but potentially sex ed too…

The rumors follow Oberg’s 2023 transition into the beauty industry, offering five skincare offerings for sporty baes. For those unfamiliar, Sporty & Rich began as an athletic, wellness and lifestyle account that soon forayed into apparel, beauty and now seemingly, sexual wellness.
