Nike Is Bringing Back '90s Football Fever With Hollywood Keepers Drop
Counting down the days until the World Cup with a five-star jersey collection.
The 2026 World Cup is only six months away, and while everyone is ringing in the biggest tournament yet in their own way, nobody is doing it like Nike. With the majority of matches taking place stateside next summer, the American sportswear giant just unveiled its first special drop as the tournament approaches. The Hollywood Keepers collection remixes Nike’s ’90s goalkeeper jerseys for streetwear, arriving in bright colorways for eight of the brand’s biggest countries.
Brazil, Nigeria, France, England, South Korea, The Netherlands, Canada and, of course, the United States are featured in the drop, with the bold, archival star design from old keeper kits making its 21st century return. Each country gets its own moment in the spotlight, with retro, geometric designs in neon shades, eye-catching gradients and marbled details.
Goalkeeper kits have historically been some of the most quirky and eclectic designs, but over the years they’ve been reduced to subdued templates. Nike is throwing all of that out the window this year, offering a sneak peek of what’s to come in June. Keeper kits have never looked so good, and this blockbuster capsule is just what the game needed.
The Hollywood Keepers collection will be available on the Nike website and select retailers starting December 8.
