PlayStation Teams Up With WIND AND SEA For a Console-Ready Collection
Mixing gaming and streetwear with a futuristic drop.
PlayStation is taking us to Y3K, unveiling a futuristic collaboration with Japanese streetwear brand WIND AND SEA. The playful collection brings one of Japan’s most iconic gaming brands to life through tracksuits and jerseys. Bringing the worlds of gaming and fashion together, a campaign starring actress and the voice behind Silent Hill f Konatsu Kato highlights the monochromatic capsule in all its glory.
PlayStation has been blurring the line between gaming and streetwear for a while now. Trendy collaborations exploring fashion’s newfound obsession with soccer and colorful looks with brands like Yinka Ilori are on the portfolio. Now one of the biggest names in Japanese street style is getting its head in the game.
The collection focuses on elevated basics, comfy enough to game in but stylish enough to go out, too. Entirely in black and white with the occasional iridescent or mustard yellow detail, the limited-edition drop is full of reimagined jerseys, hoodies, track jackets and sweats. PlayStation’s iconic controller symbols decorate each item alongside WIND AND SEA’s logo.
The PlayStation x WIND AND SEA collection drops on December 20 and will be available via the WIND AND SEA website and in-store at the Tokyo flagship.
