5 Couture Week SS25 Beauty Looks We Can't Get Over

From Dior’s feather mohawks to Chanel’s juicy red lips.

As fashion month draws near, the anticipation builds to see the season’s next big beauty trends make their entrance on the runways. However, Couture Week is where the real magic happens. These are the looks that truly impress us, pushing boundaries and setting the stage for what’s to come this year. From sculptural hair to mind-bending makeup, this year’s haute couture moments are leaving a lasting impact on us.

Ahead, five memorable looks from the runway at Couture Week Spring/Summer 2025, from smoky eyes at Armani Privè to wet mermaid hair at Jean Paul Gaultier.

Feather Mohawks at Dior

Creative Director for Dior Makeup Peter Philips wanted “to embody a sophisticated and rebellious punk spirit in a powerful and simple way,” so the hair for the brand’s Spring/Summer Couture Show needed to match. Adorned with black feathers and bedazzled flowers, this otherworldly mohawk strikes a balance between edgy and elegant.

Exaggerated Smoky Eyes at Armani Privè

With the resurgence of Renaissance-inspired beauty dominating makeup trends this year, Armani’s runway offered an almost literal interpretation of a painting from this period. This smoky eye is a work of art, blending softly into the outer corners of the face for an exaggerated look.

Wet Hair at Jean Paul Gaultier

Armani isn’t the only fashion house tapping into this year’s beauty trends as Jean Paul Gaultier took another prediction, the fisherman aesthetic, to a whole other level. Each model showcased wet hair styled uniquely, framed by a netted mask.

Juicy Red Lips at Chanel

Models on Chanel’s runway wore matte red lips, using three different lipsticks, depending on the models’ skin tones to complement the structured haute couture suits seen on the runway.

Hot Pink Eyeshadow at Viktor & Rolf

Viktor & Rolf felt like a major throwback to the ’80s, with models rocking blonde and wispy pixie wigs as well as a beautiful hot pink eyeshadow with purple mascara.
