Jacquemus Is Entering the Beauty Chat

The designer is signing an exclusive multi-year partnership with the L’Oréal Groupe.

Jacquemus is venturing into the world of beauty, teaming up with L’Oréal Groupe, who is also investing in the independent label itself. With Simon Porte Jacquemus’ unparalleled sense of artistry and his knack for creating wearable art, there’s no doubt his designs will translate effortlessly into fragrance and makeup.

“Fifteen years ago, I began dreaming of and creating Jacquemus, with perfume and beauty always part of my vision for the brand. Today, I am proud to celebrate another milestone for the Maison we have built together over the years,” Jacquemus, president, founder and creative director of Jacquemus said in a post shared to LinkedIn. “This is just the beginning.”

From the whimsical “Le Chouchou” collection to the seaside sophistication of “La Casa,” Jacquemus’ vision is sure to add a visionary twist to the beauty industry.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jacquemus and unleash together its outstanding luxury beauty potential,” Cyril Chapuy, president of L’Oréal Luxe, said in a press statement. “With its singular brand positioning, fueled by sensational creativity and social first playfulness, Jacquemus will perfectly complement L’Oréal Luxe’s portfolio of iconic brands and reinforce our worldwide leadership.”
