Collina Strada FW25 Turned NYC Into Its "Fempire"

Featuring differently-abled models, bridal looks and a PUMA collaboration.

Collina Strada presented its Fall/Winter 2025 collection during New York Fashion Week this season, dubbed “FEMPIRE.” Exploring themes of femininity, matriarchy and queen-dom, the showcase offered a slew of Strada signatures with an added sense of power and domination.

“Imagine a world where power moves sideways and care is currency. A world that doesn’t just reverse outdated norms but rewrites the script entirely—keeping what works, reconfiguring the rest,” reads this season’s collection release. Looking at queerness, disability and femininity as a source of power, the collection transported us back to where it all began — our childhoods — and encouraged us to see our future through a totally different lens.

Take a closer look at some of the collection looks below and read on for Hypebae’s review of Collina Strada FW25.

WHO: Celebrity guests and fans of the brand like Law Roach, Japanese Breakfast, Ella Emhoff and Dylan Sprouse sat on the front row. Aaron Rose Philip walked again this season.

WHERE: The showcase was held in the Meatpacking District, with some attendees stating that Seymour chose the venue because it was convenient to get to from any area in New York, and had described it almost as the middle ground.

SEE: FW25 was more grungy than previous collections. There were still ruffles and bold prints aplenty, but this time, these feminine details arrived in darker colors like deep brown and black. Accessorizing the majority of the looks was a range of Balenciaga-esque, bug-eyed sunglasses, which added a sense of disruption to the looks. Two models also stepped out onto the runway in full bridal looks — sourced from thrift stores and transformed into “Collina couture,” while sharing a kiss in front of the audience. Also debuted on the runway was the latest footwear collaboration from Collina Strada and PUMA.

TOUCH: Lace was the primary fabric this season, juxtaposed by a few cozy, colorful knitwear pieces.

HEAR: This season’s showcase featured reworked popular tracks, each debuting a play on words with Collina Strada’s name. For example, Enya’s “Only Time” song usually says “Where the day flows? Only time” but she had it say “Where the day flows? Coll-ina Strada.”

TASTE: According to Collina Strada, childhood innocence is so back for FW25. Leaning into the idea of “play,” the collection and showcase suggested that it’s time to have fun with fashion again, all the while embracing our inner child.
