Jordan Brand Teams up With Free the Youth To Celebrate Its 40th Anniversary

Marking four decades of cultural fusion, community development and greatness.

Jordan Brand is gearing up to celebrate an impressive 40th anniversary this year, marking four decades of creativity and greatness. Rooted in a love of the game and the street, the Jumpman logo continues to represent ambition, cultural fusion and community.

To celebrate the milestone anniversary, Jordan Brand is teaming up with Free the Youth, a collective of young creatives who look to empower and uplift the African diaspora. Founded by Jonathan Coffie, Kelly Foli, Winfred Mensah and Richard Kweku Ormano, the multi-functional brand began as a way to showcase Ghanaian street style on social media and in the last few years, it’s evolved into a brand, creative agency and NGO in Ghana.

Together, Jordan Brand and Free the Youth are inviting London’s African diaspora to come together in celebration of their joint ambition. Taking over a secret location in South London’s Brixton area, the duo will host a day of activities “dedicated to celebrating greatness and community.”

Take a look at the Jordan Brand x Free The Youth campaign above and for more information on the event, head to the FTY website.

In other collaboration news, we speak to the female skaters who took part in the recent New Balance x Niko June competition.
