Rico Nasty Announces New Album, 'LETHAL'

Alongside her new single, “TEETHSUCKER (YEA3X).”

Grammy-nominated artist Rico Nasty has announced her highly anticipated return to music with a new album

Titled LETHALRico Nasty’s return is seemingly exactly what the girls were waiting for. The album news launches alongside her new single, also released today, titled “TEETHSUCKER (YEA3X).”

The gritty single merges the artist’s rap-and-rock-coded sound while marking her new era. “Executive produced by Grammy nominated producer Imad Royal, the album still features all the hallmarks of a Rico Nasty record — female rage, heavy guitars, humor — but there are also notes of femininity, introspection and a more complex framing of all the angles of Rico – the performer, the mother, the adult.”

The D.C.-born artist released her latest albums Nightmare Vacation in 2020 and Las Ruinas in 2022. Las Ruinas was followed by a three year hiatus, which the exclusive press release reveals was a much-needed ego death.

Stay tuned for album updates and keep reading for the full list of features.

In other news, Tinashe opens up about finally reaching mainstream success. Elsewhere, Rema releases that highly anticipated sample of Sade’s “Is It A Crime.”
