Here's Why 'The White Lotus' Fans Are Hate-Watching Patrick Schwarzenegger

As hit TV show The White Lotus returns, fans can’t help but notice a glaring similarity. In a new interview, actor Patrick Schwarzenegger who plays Saxon Ratliff, opens up about nepo baby allegations. Shortly after, fans did research before confirming their #stan status revealing a new discovery.

If the name sounds familiar — that’s because it is. Former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger is Patrick’s father. “I know there are people who’ll say I only got this role because of who my dad is,” he told the interviewer. “They’re not seeing that I’ve had ten years of acting classes, put on [high] school plays every week, worked on my characters for hours on end or the hundreds of rejected auditions I’ve been on.”

Additionally, nepo baby claims have led to imposter syndrome. “Of course, it’s frustrating and you can get boxed in and you think at that moment, I wish I didn’t have my last name,” he continued. However, public backlash and nepotism claims aren’t anything he can’t handle, he closed. “I would never trade my life with anyone. I’m very fortunate to have the life and family that I have, the parents I have and the lessons and values they’ve instilled in me.”

Nepotism aside, Schwarzenegger (the son, that is), has been rising in popularity since his debut in Season 3 of The White Lotus’. His character, Saxon, plays a deviant delivering spicy scenes. Naturally, fans were ready to take their love to the next level. But first, they did their research and began to peruse his Instagram following.
