BUTT Magazine Drops Issue 36 in Partnership With Bottega Veneta
“The thickest and most holy issue yet.”
BUTT Magazine is back with a brand new issue, once again released in partnership with Bottega Veneta. For its 36th issue, aka “the thickest and most holy issue yet,” the magazine features stories from artists, performers and creators, including screen-and-stage star Omar Ayuso.
This issue also features an intimate conversation between conceptual artist AA Bronson and self-proclaimed “porn dad” Joe Someone, plus a tender self-portrait series from Ryūdai Takano and a look inside the vibrant journey of director Lilly Wachowski. Volume 36 arrives with two pink-hued covers, shot by Gustavo García-Villa and starring Spanish-Moroccan star Sir Karim.
Elsewhere, the issue features a unique interview with the gay tailor to the Pope, plus a seventeenth-century “anti-sodomy saga” is transformed into contemporary queer lore thanks to Dutch author Raoul de Jong.
The magazine was reborn in 2022 through the support of Bottega Veneta and has since released many issues in collaboration with the luxury brand. In the past, the magazine has featured cover stars like Troye Sivan and Arca and regularly spotlights emerging activists, sex workers, and creative talent.
