Dua Lipa's Go-To Summer Scent? YSL Beauty's "Libre L'Eau Nue," Of Course
The fragrance house is releasing its first-ever alcohol-free and parfum de peau formula.
YSL Beauty is stepping into the alcohol-free fragrance arena by launching its “Libre L’Eau Nue” Eau de Parfum. Following other perfume houses’ footsteps, this new release is accompanied by a sunny campaign featuring brand ambassador Dua Lipa frolicking on a rocky, beautiful beach.
“Our freedom is our highest form of expression and that’s always worth fighting for. I always want to live most authentically and truthfully possible,” said Lipa in a press statement. “I live my freedom being myself, being true to who I am, as a person and as an artist.”
“Libre L’Eau Nue” is a parfum de peau, designed to enhance the skin with hydrating properties. Exclusively utilizing an oil-in-water technology developed by Yves Saint Laurent, this innovative formula maximizes the potency of its ingredients. Thanks to this advanced technique, its notes of lavender, citrus and orange blossom are stronger than ever, enveloping the wearer in a long-lasting fragrance that lingers throughout the day.
If you’re curious about why alcohol is removed from fragrances, it’s primarily to create a more skin-friendly and gentle experience. Alcohol can sometimes cause irritation or dryness, especially for those with sensitive skin.
