Marc Jacobs Gives Doja Cat Her City "Staycation" for Pre-Fall 2025

For its Pre-Fall 2025 campaign “Staycation,” Marc Jacobs teamed up with Doja Cat to debut not just the brand’s latest Dual Bag collection, but also a sneak peek at her unreleased track “Jealous Type,” from her upcoming album Vie. It’s a double reveal that feels unexpected, but totally on point.
The vibe is unmistakably summer in the city — but not the glossy Carrie Bradshaw kind with picnic blankets in Central Park. It’s real and unfiltered, all soundtracked by traffic humming, construction buzzing and a certain gritty rhythm that defines urban life. Doja Cat leans into it all with her effortless confidence, explaining in the campaign’s press release, “Being on summer vacation isn’t about where you go, it’s about how you show up — whether you’re vibing in the city or soaking up sun at the beach.” Photographed by Stef Mitchell, styled by Sydney Rose Thomas and brought to life on video by Christian Breslauer, the visuals reimagine everyday spaces — scaffolding turns into a sun spot and sidewalks become runways.
