It’s official: Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are expecting baby number three.
On May 5, ahead of the MET Gala, Rihanna walked from her truck to her hotel in the rain. Excited for her gala look, fans gathered around only to realize: Rihanna’s pregnant. She attempted to hide her baby bump with her jacket as she strutted through the rain, however, the chaos of the moment didn’t permit.
Pregnancy rumors first began to circulate in early 2025, but the couple remained hush on any announcements. However, when the latest Savage X Fenty bridal collection was released, fans couldn’t help but notice their favorite was rocking a huge ring. Despite the ring and pregnancy speculations, the celebrity couple didn’t utter a word.

Just ten minutes after the news broke, Rihanna’s fanbase flooded her Instagram comments with baby gender guesses. In response to the pink lingerie shoot, one fan commented, “All this pink. I think we got our girl!”
The couple reunited in 2020, and this will mark their third child. Rihanna revealed her first pregnancy with a New York-coded photoshoot and her second, at the 2023 Super Bowl. Since becoming a mother, the “Work” singer has redefined maternity fashion, leaving room for exposed bumps, sexy silhouettes and heels — no matter how intricate.
During her first pregnancy, she told E!, “Being pregnant, some days you just feel like, ‘Ugh, I just want to lay here on this couch all day.’ But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform… You put some clothes on, and it’s like, when you look good, you feel good… Fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal. It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend.”
