Skater Savannah Stacey Keenan Is the Star of ICECREAM's New Campaign
Continuing the brand’s newfound focus on womenswear.
ICECREAM just dropped another campaign for the newly released women’s Season 1 line with one of the coldest skaters out there, Savannah Stacey Keenan. The Pharrell-led brand released the first iteration just last month, tapping rapper BB Trickz to celebrate the launch.
A regular name in London’s fashion scene, Keenan has featured in campaigns for brands including Palace Skateboards, Nike and Burberry, with her style perfectly capturing the ICECREAM skate DNA. Lensed by photographer Anet Hrnkova, the images are shot at dusk with flash that evokes an early ’00s digicam feel. The brand shared, “The collection nods to hip-hop subcultures and Y2K skate nostalgia,” instantly recognizable through the oversized silhouettes, heavy graphics and crystal adornment.
Highlights include the loud camo and houndstooth prints seen across baggy jorts and jeans. The collection is dripping in Y2K nostalgia, making it the perfect drop for skater girls everywhere.
A bold extension of Billionaire Boys Club, ICECREAM positions itself as “continuing to challenge the status quo of streetwear.” The recent expansion into womenswear demonstrates just this while championing talent that’s true to the brand’s roots. We look forward to seeing who’s next.
