Emerging Tennis Star Jaqueline Cristian Signs New Deal With FILA
Joining a growing talent roster filled with emerging female stars.
FILA has signed Romanian tennis star Jaqueline Cristian after her breakout season in 2025. The 27-year-old has slowly climbed through ranks over the last few years, recording a career-high WTA ranking of No. 39 last year, becoming the top player from her country. Off the back of her first singles title at the WTA 125 tournament last year, she is the latest name on FILA’s global talent roster.
Cristian joins the likes of Emma Navarro and Anna Frey as some of FILA’s leading young female athletes. Making her debut in the Italian heritage brand at this year’s Australian Open, she’ll be taking over Melbourne in FILA’s newest tennis collection, as well as the Axilus 3 Energized sneakers.
Kevin Yoon, President and CEO of FILA’s parent company Misto Holdings, said in a press release, “We are thrilled to welcome Jaqueline to the FILA family as we continue our legacy of sponsoring champions on and off the court. She has demonstrated her capability to compete at the highest level, highlighted by a breakthrough 2025 season and we look forward to supporting her as she continues to grow, achieve new milestones, and inspire the next generation of tennis players.”
