Kaysha Love Fronts the New SKIMS x Team USA Winter Olympics Collection

The bobsled champion has her eye on gold this year, and she’s ready to do it in her SKIMS.

As Team USA prepares to take on the world at Milano Cortina 2026, another Olympian-inspired SKIMS collection is on the way. Since their partnership started in 2021, the SKIMS x Team USA collection has become one of the most highly anticipated Olympic fashion capsules in the build-up to the Games. As always, the athletes take center stage in the campaign. For Milano Cortina, SKIMS tapped bobsled champion Kaysha Love as one of the faces of the new collection.

From track and field All-American honors in college to her second Winter Olympics, Love is the epitome of a modern athlete. The Utah native made the switch to bobsledding in her early 20s and has since represented the United States at the 2022 Winter Olympics and two World Championships, bringing home a gold medal in 2025. Quickly becoming one of the biggest names in American bobsledding, the upcoming Games come at a pivotal point in Love’s career. Performing an entirely different role this time around, she is one of the top athletes to look out for in Cortina.

Hypebae caught up with Love ahead of the Olympics to chat all things SKIMS, training rituals and biggest inspirations. Keep scrolling to learn more about one of Team USA’s brightest stars as she goes for gold this February.

What is your favorite piece from this SKIMS collection?
My favorite piece is the Olympic Cami in red. I’ve been wearing SKIMS since 2019, and when they partnered with Team USA in 2020, I fell in love with the brand in a whole new way. I still wear my Beijing 2022 Olympics pieces regularly. This cami fits perfectly. It makes me feel powerful, confident and completely myself.

How does the SKIMS collection make you feel as an athlete?
SKIMS has always felt like more than just clothing to me. It’s been part of my everyday life, from bobsled practice to recovery days, travel and just lounging at home. The pieces are comfortable, supportive and effortless, which makes it so easy to feel like myself no matter what I’m doing. So when the SKIMS team reached out about featuring me in the Team USA campaign, it was incredibly inspiring. It felt like such an honor to be part of something I’ve genuinely loved for years.

Being on set with the SKIMS team was an amazing experience. They were full of energy, creativity and fun. Trying on my favorite pieces from the Team USA capsule made me feel strong, confident and beautiful. It was empowering to celebrate Team USA in a way that felt authentic, and being part of a campaign like this, alongside other athletes and Olympians who inspire me, was truly unforgettable.

You started bobsledding at 23 and already, you’re heading to your second Winter Olympics. What has this journey looked like for you? Did you ever expect to go this far when you first started?
When I started bobsledding, I had no idea how far this journey would take me. Heading into my second Winter Olympics is surreal on its own, but this one is even more special because it’s my first as a pilot — a completely new position and responsibility than my 2022 Olympics position.

This journey has been intense, full of hard work, growth and lessons both on and off the track. There have been challenges, setbacks and moments of doubt, but also breakthroughs, moments of pure joy and pride in what I’ve accomplished. Looking back, I’m amazed at how far I’ve come and I’m so grateful for my teammates, coaches, and everyone who has supported me along the way. It still feels a little surreal, but stepping into this new role as a pilot makes me even more excited for what’s ahead in Cortina.

You were a track and field All-American in college. How much have the physical and mental attributes you’ve gained from track helped you transition over to bobsled?
Being a track and field All-American in college laid the foundation for my transition to bobsled. The speed and power you develop on the track are the exact same attributes you need to make the sled fast at the start. Beyond the physical, competing at a high level in college taught me how to perform under pressure, focus on details, and push through tough competition. These were lessons that directly prepared me to compete on the world stage in bobsled.

Who is your biggest sporting inspiration?
My biggest sporting inspirations are Kobe Bryant and Serena Williams. Kobe inspires me with his relentless work ethic and “Mamba Mentality,” and Serena inspires me with her power, resilience and ability to break barriers while dominating on the world stage. They both push me to be the best version of myself every day.

How much does what you wear to compete and train affect your performance?
What I wear really affects how I perform. I believe in “look good, feel good, do good,” and that starts with feeling comfortable and confident from the inside out. Even the fit of my bra or underwear matters. If something doesn’t feel right, it can be distracting. When I feel supported and confident in what I’m wearing, I can fully focus and give my best on the track.

What can you tell us about your post-training rituals?
After training, recovery is my top priority. I review track videos and notes, and take care of my body with saunas, ice baths, Epsom salt baths and sessions in the sports medicine room. It helps me stay at my best and ready for the next day of training.

What are you most looking forward to at the Olympics?
What I’m most excited for at the Olympics is having my village there, especially my mom. She’s supported me through every step of my life, every season, every sport, and having her in the stands cheering me on means everything. I’m also looking forward to fully experiencing the Olympic culture and energy, which we didn’t get to do at the 2022 Games because of COVID.

Finally, what words of wisdom would you give to your 15-year-old self?
I’d tell my 15-year-old self to trust the process, trust God, and be fearless in who you are. Perfection isn’t the goal. Focus on growing and learning along the way and know that I’m proud of everything you’ll overcome.

The new SKIMS x Team USA collection will be available to purchase on the SKIMS website starting January 8.
