Wales Bonner's FW26 Collection Is an Architectural Dream
Blending modern design with cultural expression.
Wales Bonner just unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, and it’s a lesson in balancing the practical with the sensual. Titled “Morning Raga,” the release takes the harmony of modern architectural traditions and transforms them into an everyday uniform.
The collection employs early ideals of purity and combines them with bold accents inspired by figures like Indian architect Balkrishna Doshi, offering unexpected and romanticized combinations. This archetypal uniform sees contrasts of fabric and feel, such as heritage polo silhouettes elevated with ceremonial satin sashes, while elsewhere, silk shirts are animated with ivory and blue color blocking. Geometry is a mainstay throughout the collection, with abstraction seen in grid patterns across jackets woven in wool with leather detailing. One highlight is a studded top and skirt set joined with a signature wrap tuxedo featuring a sculptural hemline and satin lapel.
The collection’s mood is backed by John Coltrane’s album, Meditations, fusing Indian tradition with modern expression. Cultural bearing is at the core, manifesting in bold Madras checks, crinkled Bengal-stripe shirting and brooches crafted from Panga Panga wood by Botswanan artisans. The season also sees the adidas Originals x Wales Bonner collection updated with the Karintha sneaker in crocodile, alongside a new profile of the BW Army.
“Morning Raga” is a soft interpretation of modernist design filled with cultural significance and elegant tailoring. Check out some of the looks above and head to the Wales Bonner website for more.
