Glitter-Dusted Grime Takes Center Stage at Diesel FW26
Inspired by “the morning after” glam.
At Milan Fashion Week, Diesel championed “the morning after” look with its Fall/Winter 2026 collection. While the garments featured clashing patterns and disorderly silhouettes, the show’s glam leaned into the messy, party vibes in its own right. Keyed by Inge Grognard and MAC Cosmetics, the beauty featured neon eye looks and skin doused in pastel glitter.
Harping on the concept of the 5 a.m. face left over from the night before, Grognard employed messy techniques when applying fluorescent eyeshadow and chunks of glitter to the body. Making use of the brand’s modern color palette of hot pink, sunset orange and lime green, the glam was the cherry on top of the chicest walk of shame ensemble.
While other designers opt for a more subdued beauty look, Diesel’s FW26 maximalist details are proof that when utilized correctly, the right glam can make all the difference. Although Glenn Martens‘ vision for a Project X party-turned-runway is undoubtedly chaotic, the makeup looks grounded the madness in candy-colored sparkles.
