Cecilie Bahnsen's New The North Face Collab Is For the Girls
Teased on the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
Cecilie Bahnsen just debuted her fourth collaboration with The North Face, and we must admit, this one’s really for the girls. Debuted as part of the designer’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection show at Paris Fashion Week, the new collaboration marks a shift toward pastel hues, lighter fabrics, and even more romance.
Layering technical performance pieces with glitzy details and feminine silhouettes, the collaboration pairs recycled nylon jackets with Bahnsen’s signature sculptural dresses, styling technical peplum tutus with backpacks and shiny metal yarns. Taking inspiration from couture fabrics, the collection features subtle embroidery atop technical organza, aka the ultimate blend of Bahnsen’s brand and The North Face’s performance-leaning design.
Delving into the brand’s archive, Bahnsen’s collaboration reimagines classic bags and functional pieces, potentially marking the duo’s “softest” collaboration yet. Elsewhere, the wider collection mixes light pastel layers and transparent dresses with knitwear, fleecing and silk satins, with each silhouette revolving around movement, and the idea that clothes should move with the body.
Putting her money where her mouth is, Bahnsen’s FW26 collection was showcased through a choreographed performance, which saw models burst into delicate dance, clearly demonstrating the wearability and movement of the pieces.
