Nike Faces the Future With the First Sight Women's Sneaker Collection

Merging fashion and sport with three new hybrid styles.

Nike’s on a mission to change women’s sportswear again, launching the First Sight footwear collection designed to fill a niche in the industry. Bringing futuristic, fashion-forward designs into the performance gear space, First Sight is full of unique, versatile and bold silhouettes, made with Nike’s elite technology and designed to be worn for heavy workouts, casual days out, or a mix of both.

The collection is a stunning trio of hybrid styles. Each pair rooted in sport, design codes from Nike’s signature athletic silhouettes are instantly recognizable. The Noir merges track spikes and loafers for a sleek, all-black look that can elevate any outfit. Finding a middle ground between the ultra-sporty style and the lifestyle inspiration sounds tricky, but the Swoosh have pulled it off seamlessly here.

The other two designs launching as part of the First Sight collection are the Mirage and the Shadow, bringing out the fashionable side of football boots and basketball sneakers in subtle way, whilst creating something entirely new. Innovation is at the heart of Nike’s designs, and this collection is overflowing with it.

The First Sight collection launches with the Noir sneaker on March 20 via the Nike website. The Mirage and Shadow silhouettes will be released later this year.

In other news, Nike and Veneda Carter have released their new Air Max Muse.
