Rare Beauty Unveils a New Foundation

Introducing the True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation.

Rare Beauty just announced the newest addition to its lineup: the True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation. Described as a “self-priming and self-setting” foundation with medium to full coverage, the product provides a blurred, poreless finish for up to eight hours.

“I love the way my skin looks on set, so I wanted to create a foundation that gives me that same blurred, velvety look but is easy and comfortable enough for every day,” founder Selena Gomez says in a press release. Best suitable for normal, combo and oily skin types, the True To Myself Foundation is a buildable, matte take on the brand’s existing foundation — available in 48 shades.

Described by Rare Beauty as a three-in-one product, the foundation promises to prime, cover and set your skin all in a single step. In addition to instantly smoothing your complexion, the True To Myself Foundation is also said to blend seamlessly without streaks or creases thanks to its airy texture. Not to mention, it’s infused with skin-loving ingredients like ginger root and algae extract to keep your skin feeling hydrated all day.

The True To Myself Natural Matte Longwear Foundation retails for $38 USD and will be available for purchase at Sephora and on the brand’s website starting April 2.
