Gap Is Getting the Victoria Beckham Treatment
With the pair teaming up for a multi-season partnership.
Two enduring figures that defined the early 2000s, Gap and Victoria Beckham, are teaming up, and we can’t believe this didn’t happen sooner. The new multi-season partnership will see Gap classics reimagined through Beckham’s unique design lens, creating a beautifully refined take on the essentials.
Landing for Spring, the 38-piece collection takes everything you think you know about Gap (denim, khakis, shirts) and elevates it. Think slightly cleaner lines, sculpted silhouettes and thoughtful details that make a look feel instantly more put-together. This is a whole new kind of “off-duty” look.
Denim is, of course, the mainstay of the collection, led by the Arc Jean and classic straight cuts, styled with matching jackets and button-ups for a double-denim moment (perhaps a nod to early era Posh Spice). Elsewhere, utilitarian greens and khakis bring a subtle edge across skirts, cargos and outerwear, while a heavyweight fleece set taps into Gap’s logo legacy, but for today’s crowd.
And it wouldn’t be quintessentially VB if it didn’t ooze elegance and tailoring. From a crisp cotton tee to the perfect trench, these are classics but better.
Check out the vintage-style campaign above, shot by duo Mert Alaş and Marcus Piggott and starring Mica Argañaraz and Lina Zhang. The collection will be available from April 24 via the Gap website.
