Justin Bieber Serenaded Billie Eilish at His Second Coachella Set
Also bringing out SZA and Big Sean.
Weekend two at Coachella was a movie, and headliner Justin Bieber carried. After his viral performance the previous week, bringing out guests including The Kid Laroi, Tems and Wizkid, Bieber returned to the stage with much more to offer.
During the “YouTube section” of the singer’s performance, where he scrolled the site to revisit old songs, Billie Eilish climbed out of the crowd and onto the stage for the track “One Less Lonely Girl” as Bieber serenaded her. This cameo was particularly heartwarming as Eilish has long spoken of her admiration for Bieber, calling her younger self a superfan. Having met at Coachella in 2019 and subsequently collaborating on the remix of her song “Bad Guy,” this truly was a full-circle moment.

As if bringing Eilish on stage wasn’t already epic, the artist closed his guest list out with SZA, making an appearance to sing “Snooze.” The pair previously performed together last year in Los Angeles as part of her co-headlining tour with Kendrick Lamar.
The rest of the performance involved Bieber pulling up old clips of himself singing covers when he was younger, including a performance of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River.” This was a very nostalgic set that finally pulled back into the Swag album, closing out the evening.
