Olivia Rodrigo Is Barcelona's Latest Shirt Sponsor
Celebrating her upcoming album “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.”
El Clásico is around the corner again, and that means a new artist is starting a residency on FC Barcelona’s kit before the season comes to a close. This time around, the Spotify logo is being replace by none other than Olivia Rodrigo, as she counts down the days until her third album’s release.
Dropping alongside a miniature collection, the whimsical, youthful aesthetic of Rodrigo’s upcoming album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love has taken over the Catalonian club, with updated logos and embroidered details covering T-shirts, scarves and more.
The jersey itself features a special “OR” logo, arriving in yellow on Barcelona’s current home kit. On the back, “Rodrigo” and the number 23 replace the usual player name sets, but classic player editions are available, as well.
The wider collection takes the curling font associated with the singer’s new era and reimagines them in Barça colors, from “Força Barça” stickers, totes and tees to a special football scarf in the club’s classic gold and blaugrana colorway.
Rodrigo joins the likes of Rosalía, Karol G, Coldplay and more to get the FC Barcelona treatment, as part of the club’s ongoing partnership with Spotify. After being spotted at her fair share of football clubs in the last few years, this collaboration is a match made in heaven.
The Olivia Rodrigo x Barcelona collection is available to purchase now on the club’s website.
