Salomon and Ray BEAMS Drop a Fruity New XT-Whisper Collaboration
Dubbed the “Blueberry Cheesecake” sneaker.
Japanese label Ray BEAMS has joined forces with Salomon to cook up a delicious new take on the XT-Whisper sneaker. Fittingly named the “Blueberry Cheesecake” sneaker, there weren’t too many chefs in the kitchen when this collaboration was designed. Dropping in time for summer hikes, whether urban or mountainous, your shoe rotation just got a little bit sweeter.
The sneaker features a creamy, off-white mesh base, contrasted by vibrant “blueberry” accents. Indigo, purple and bright blue hues decorate the synthetic overlays and the signature curving cage, creating a high-contrast, multi-dimensional and sugary-sweet aesthetic.
While the colorway leans into a playful design straight out of the bakery, the XT-Whisper was still made for performance. A Contagrip rubber outsole offers elite traction, and a cushioned midsole is perfect for all-day comfort, whether you’re stomping on city streets or forest trails.
The Salomon x Ray BEAMS XT-Whisper Will be available to purchase starting May 14 via the BEAMS website and select retailers.
