This Brand Is Making Hair Care Funner
Funner is attempting to reframe our routines.
Funner is rewriting the rules of professional hair care. The new brand, founded by Jonah Kaner, Daniel Kaner and Sonia Kashuk, launches with a 21-product collection spanning cleansing, conditioning, treatment, styling and finishing — built on a single principle: performance without rigidity. Rather than framing hair care as maintenance, Funner treats hair as a form of personal style: fluid, emotional and constantly evolving.
At the core of the brand is the belief that there’s no singular definition of good hair. The collection deliberately sidesteps traditional beauty restrictions by losing age, gender and hair-type labels. As a result, products are designed to be mixed, layered and personalized instinctively.
Developed alongside stylists and grounded in real salon experience, the formulas are high-performing, yet easy-to-use. “It is about giving people tools that help their hair feel healthier, shinier, more textured, more defined or more of whatever they want it to be that day,” Jonah Kaner says in a press release. Not to mention, the entire line is sulfate, paraben and silicone-free, with scalp health, color protection and long-term hair longevity considered throughout.
The full collection ranges from $38 USD to $52 USD and is available for purchase on the brand’s website.
