GCDS Just Turned a High-Fashion Campaign Into a Meme
Complete with overlay text, cheeky captions and hashtags.
GCDS is one of those brands that knows exactly how to tap into internet culture and do it right. For its SS26 campaign, the Italian label celebrates its Milanese heritage and also… memes. With architecture, interiors and Italian design as the backdrop, this is legacy meets digital-age pop culture.
Creative director Giuliano Calza takes us into his actual apartment in Milan, lensed by photographer Carmine Romano, ditching all the stuffy traditions. The team transforms Calza’s home, complete with marble surfaces, wood paneling and massive terraces, into the ultimate Gen-Z playground.
