UPDATE (December 12, 2018): Nike has provided an official look at Aleali May x Nike’s Air Jordan 1 “Viotech.” The high-top silhouette is covered in a premium suede with leather lining to pair.

A mix of “Bordeaux,” “Sunset Tint-Rush,” “Red-Light,” and “Armory Blue” tones are color-blocked throughout its form creating a standout profile. Completing the pair are a set of cowhide laces and a removable faux hair tongue for the cold weather.

Aleali May x Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Viotech” is scheduled to release this weekend for $160 USD. Take a closer look above if you plan to cop.

UPDATE (December 8, 2018): The Aleali May x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Viotech” is set to officially release on December 15 for $160 USD at Nike’s web store and select Jordan Brand retailers. In addition, Maya Moore’s Air Jordan X will also be releasing on the same date.

Stay tuned here as additional details emerge.

Aleali May has taken to Instagram to unveil a first, official look at her two forthcoming releases: an all-pink-everything Air Jordan 6 and faux fur-lined Air Jordan 1. The video shown in the post below was taken at Nike HQ with a plethora of dual-branded Vogue products seen in the background. It has also been confirmed that, unfortunately, both models are slated to be exclusives for friends and family only.

When Aleali May‘s inaugural Air Jordan 1 collaboration was first revealed in 2017, the female sneakerhead community rejoiced at the move for further diversity when it comes to footwear options made beyond the typical men’s sizing range. Thanks to the partnership’s success, Jordan Brand once again taps the streetwear it-girl for another collaborative release.

This time around, May’s subdued black and silver palette takes a complete 180-degree turn with an ostentatious rendition of the iconic sneaker. Not only is the sprawling coloration head-turning to say the least, (it features hues of Core Bordeaux, Sunset Tint, Rush Red and Light Armory Blue on its premium nubuck suede upper), but the trainer also highlights a removable section of multi-toned faux fur that is attached to the tongue. Rounding off the look is a stark white midsole that balances the wide-ranging splashes of color on the profile.
