Converse's New Chuck 70 Collection Is Inspired by the Classics
Fronted by actress and cellist Nana Ouyang.
Converse has just released its new Chuck 70 collection, taking inspiration from the label’s iconic classics. “A modern ode to the Chuck Taylor All Star,” the Chuck 70 takes on the original design from the 1970s, sporting heavy canvas, rubber and an anti-slip tongue. Of course, the sneakers arrive in a wide range of colors and patterns, making the trainers the perfect choice for spring and summer.
Capturing the true Converse spirit, the campaign is fronted by actress and cellist Nana Ouyang and Lay Zhang. The actress stated that “Everyone has more than one side,” explaining that despite being an elegant cellist, she is more of a cool girl who loves embracing fashion and being bold. Arriving in shades like mustard, denim blue and pink, there’s a version for everyone.
