Sorry, This "Off-Louis" Nike Air Jordan 1 Custom Is One-Of-A-Kind
Monogrammed leather and all.
Ever since it was officially announced in March that Virgil Abloh would be the incoming Men’s Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton, the fashion world has been rampant with speculations on what the streetwear designer’s first collection at LV would look like. Offering his take on a Virgil x Louis Vuitton shoe, sneaker customizer @ceezemc has created a one-of-a-kind “Off-Louis” Air Jordan 1 with the help of Relevant Customs.
In the image shared via Instagram, the artist uses the coveted Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Jordan 1 as a base and reworks the silhouette with the fashion house’s iconic monogram leather. Along with the monogrammed segments, the toe box and side panel areas are also replaced with brown-colored raw leather. Complementing the palette is, of course, a Swoosh logo on the profile rendered in a lighter shade of beige, as well as leather laces. Rounding off the look are the words “LOUIS” appearing on the white midsole, in place of the customary “AIR” text on the original sneakers.
Although the shoes will be available for purchase, they will undoubtedly cost you a pretty penny. Stay tuned here as we find out more about the custom’s official release.
In the meantime, don’t miss this Frankenstein hybrid custom of the Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Jordan 1 and the Balenciaga Triple-S.
