This "Summer of Wrangler" 2018 Campaign Will Take You on a 1980s Road Trip

Wrangler’s ”Summer of Wrangler” preview campaign follows the denim brand, synonymous with Americana and desert road trips, into the Red Rock desert with sun loungers and super soakers in tow. With playful nods to ’80s nostalgia, Wrangler dug through its archive pieces to produce an inspired new denim range in retro cuts and washes, offering a new approach to color – which can be seen in the pastel and rainbow details on the back of vests and jackets.
Slogans from the ’80s are also reintroduced, from “Wrangler Wrocks” to “Wrangler Wrevolution,” tapping into the brand’s heritage. Women’s styles are updated with retro, cropped boyfriend jeans, straight fits, and exposed buttons for a modern take on ’80s style. Skinny fits, cropped shorts, and high waists are also a highlight of this collection. Denim jackets are introduced in pale blue hues and pops of deep purple. Sweats, hoodies, and tees are available in cropped styles for a retro, boxy silhouette.
