After revealing the coveted “THE TEN” collection last year, Nike and Virgil Abloh have finally released each of the anticipated sneakers, finishing off with the recent Virgil Abloh Chuck Taylor 70 earlier this month. Now, the two have teamed up to create a book that outlines the creative process of making the collection, from start to finish.
Originally released in Fall 2017, the book has now become available online for fans to read. Titled “TEXTBOOK”, the 258-page book looks into the production of “TEN ICONS RECONSTRUCTED,” showcasing everything from design elements to the wide range of inspiration behind each piece. The book also includes behind-the-scenes images, as well as background stories tapping into the creation of the praised collection.
