Sometimes Nike launches sneakers you’d least expect it to release at the drop of a dime. Today, the Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 “UNC” became available on Nike’s SNKRS App. Back in April, the pastel-hued sneakers which arrive after Abloh’s hugely popular “The Ten” capsule were teased via @py_rates’ Instagram account.
Specs on the sneakers include an all-over white underlay with expertly stitched light blue overlays. The color palette which is made with “White/Cone/Dark Powder Blue,” is directly inspired by Michael Jordan‘s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. Detailing also features an “AIR” stamp on the midsole, Off-White™’s well known red zip tie and white lacing.
Unfortunately, when the sneakers went live over on SNKRS, the drop wasn’t broadcasted to the public. Stay tuned here for information on whether there’ll be a restock for the design.
