KAWS Will Debut a Giant, Floating Figure in Seoul's Seokchon Lake
Launching alongside limited-edition merch.
Following up the highly-anticipated drop of the KAWS x Uniqlo UT collection, the global artist linked up with AllRightsReserved to announce a new, oversized art project. KAWS, AllRightsReserved and LOTTE plan to build a floating figure which will be placed in Seoul’s Seokchon Lake.
This 91-foot piece will be displayed between July 19 and August 19 – curated exclusively by AllRightsReserved. Titled KAWS:HOLIDAY, the unique fixture will launch alongside a capsule collection of special edition products. The range includes warm weather staples like T-shirts, a KAWS:HOLIDAY replica bath toy, floating bed, umbrella and towel.
The KAWS:HOLIDAY merch will be available exclusively at DING DONG Takuhaibin, CLOT and LOTTE World Mall, July 19 at 10 a.m. HKT. There is currently no pricing available for the items.
