ICYMI: MISBHV Debuted a Reebok Collaboration Sneaker at Its SS19 Show

Retro vibes.

Often taking to runway shows to debut new collaborations, the fashion circuit has come to be known as a hot bed for under-the-radar premieres from brands. Looking carefully at the feet of briskly walking models, one may be privy to immensely buzzy releases if you take care to look closely enough. Such can be said for MISBHV‘s recent Spring/Summer 2019 runway presentation shown at the brand’s hometown of Poland.

Amongst a slew of technical workwear inspired by post-WWII Europe, the detail that many may have missed is a sleek collaboration with sportswear giant, Reebok. Showcasing a futuristic aesthetic, the new sneaker is constructed with a semi-translucent upper. Utilizing tones of white and grey, the subdued palette is contrasted by the shoe’s striking design. Doing away completely with a lacing system, the model is rendered with a zipper closure that runs from the tongue to toe. Another unique element added to the shoe is a drawstring cord lace that closes at the heel, as well as a nostalgic, wavy pattern that brings to mind the footwear of the ’90s. Rounding off the look is MISBHV branding on the tongue tag, as well as at the heel.

Although details are still sparse regarding where the shoe will be stocked, we definitely can’t wait to learn more about the shoe’s release next year. To see more images of the collaborative release, browse through the gallery below.
