Street Style at Copenhagen Fashion Week SS19 Was Simple & Logo-Free
Attendees chose classic silhouettes to replace the current streetwear trends.
Copenhagen Fashion Week is off to a quick start with shows from Han Kjøbenhavn and HELIOT EMIL. Backstage at both shows we got a bird’s eye view at the clothing which was mostly structural and less graphic. Attendees at the Spring/Summer 2019 shows mirrored this theme sporting logo-less threads that were timeless and effortlessly elegant.
Unlike other major cities, like New York and Paris, CFW attendees focused on fit and silhouette rather than labels and trendy items like fanny packs. Of course a few of our favorite designers made cameos in the form of accessories and footwear. We see Christian Dior‘s vintage Saddle bag and a well-worn tote bag from Aries Arise. Standout kicks include the bright orange adidas Yung-1 and Acne Studios’ chunky Manhattan. Even supermodel Naomi Campbell arrived in her own street-inspired look complete with over-sized sunnies. Show guests embraced colors and patterns over graphic items owning their own style and rejecting the streetwear norms.
