Reworking the beloved GEL-Kayano 25 silhouette.
Following up to its joint release with NAKED released last year, sportswear imprint ASICS now unveils its latest collaboration. This time around, the label teams up with French label Harmony Paris for a rework of the iconic GEL-Kayano 25 silhouette. The trainers will be arriving in two different colorways: grey and neon yellow. Aligned with Harmony’s philosophy that celebrates simplicity, spontaneity and creativity, the forthcoming designs exemplify modern aesthetics, laced with a sense of timeless French luxury.
As for the construction of the sneakers themselves, the GEL-Kayano is rendered with a GEL shock absorption system for optimal comfortability – nothing could be expected less from the revered Japanese equipment manufacturer. In addition, the sole is lined in memory foam that provides unparalleled support for both the ankle and heel, making the shoe perfect as both a running and lifestyle model.
The Harmony Paris x ASICS GEL-Kayano 25 is slated to drop exclusively on January 26 at Harmony’s flagship in Paris, as well as online at its web store. A global release will follow on February 2, with the collaboration arriving at select retailers worldwide.
