Did Rihanna Just Tease a Fenty Sunglasses Release?

We sure hope so.

Between new drops for Fenty Beauty, her fan-favorite Savage X Fenty lingerie line and allegedly, new music on the way in 2019, Rihanna is one busy lady. It seems she may not be quite content with her ever-growing empire just yet, however, as some some fans have put their sleuthing skills to use to suggest that everyone’s favorite Bad Gal has her sights set on dominating the world of eyewear, too.

Fans have taken to Twitter over the past couple of days, as Rihanna was recently spotted out in NYC sporting a pair of oversized sunglasses. While this itself isn’t anything especially exciting – celebrities have long favored over-the-top shades despite the recent Matrix-inspired trends – if you zoom closer into the sunglasses you can clearly see what all the fuss is about. On the arm the word “FENTY” is engraved in all caps, suggesting that either a standalone eyewear line or at the very least, a collaboration, is on the horizon.

This is all speculation at the moment, with no foray into eyewear confirmed by Rihanna yet, however it’s worth noting that sunglasses are indeed an item protected under a FENTY trademark that was filed last year. Stay tuned for updates and in the meantime, check out our editor’s review of the new Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r concealer.
