Kappa x Awake NY Link Up for a '90s-Inspired FW19 Capsule
A combination of classic styles and modern aesthetics.
Upon dropping a range of T-shirts with Chroma for awareness of migrant rights, Angelo Baque‘s Awake NY has teamed up with Kappa for a retro-style capsule collection. The lineup fuses sportswear and fashion, emphasizing the modern aesthetic of Awake NY while keeping the classic sport materials of Kappa.
Items include street-friendly tracksuits, soccer stadium jackets, soccer jerseys and bucket hats. The tracksuit arrives in three colorways, with logo branding printed diagonally across the body, while the hat and jackets sport dual-logo athletic taping. The collection is rounded off with a jersey with Awake NY’s artistic reimagination of NYC‘s Times Square.
