Daniel Arsham Takes Over the Selfridges Corner Shop
Featuring the artist’s exclusive collaborations with Byredo, Rimowa, Dior and more.
London‘s iconic Selfridges department store has just revealed its latest takeover with artist and Dior-collaborator Daniel Arsham, who has taken over the Selfridges Corner Shop until January. Introducing The House by Daniel Arsham, the space follows the artist’s concept of fictional archaeology and reimagines familiar icons of today, creating his vision of what they’d look like if rediscovered in a distant future.
The pop-up space boasts an impressive “eroded” operational Porche 911, crystalized basketball hoop, a 1982 Macintosh computer and more, and will also be housing Arsham’s Rimowa collaboration which will be dropping in limited quantities throughout the residency.
In addition, Daniel Arsham and Selfridges have invited a handful of collaborators such as Byredo‘s Ben Gorham, A-COLD-WALL*‘s Samuel Ross and more to create exclusive product for the pop-up. Arsham’s collaboration with Kim Jones and Dior Homme will also be on display in addition to collabs with SMEG, Gentle Monster, Mont Blanc and more.
