Sole Searching: The 5 Best Stores for Shopping Women's Sneakers in Moscow

Take your pick from everyday trainers to high-end kicks.

Although the sneaker landscape for women has been improving over the years, it can still be tricky to find cool kicks in the right sizes, especially when shopping in cities that aren’t known for sneaker culture. While places like London and New York are fairly well-stocked in smaller-sized shoes, we headed to Russia‘s capital city – Moscow – to see what it has to offer its female consumers.

Whether you’re in the market for some crisp Nike Blazer Lows or chunky adidas Originals’ Falcons, or you’re a designer trainer connoisseur who prefers to shop the likes of Balenciaga and Gucci, Moscow has something for everyone. Check out our top stores below and don’t forget to check out our hit-list of Scandinavia’s best sneaker spots for women, too.

Sneakerhead

Sneakerhead is a store that’s true to its name and has plenty of options available from all your favorite brands. Choose from classic staples from Nike, like the Air Force 1 and Air Max Plus, which also arrive in more exclusive color options like the recently released AF1 Shadow pack. Pick up other brands like adidas, ASICS, Reebok and more both in-store and online, too.

Address: Nizhniy Kisel’nyy Pereulok, д.4, Moscow, 109012

Air Moscow

Though its sneaker lineup may not be the largest, Air is home to some harder-to-cop options from the likes of Reebok and COMME des GARÇONS x Converse. It’s fast cemented its name as one of the city’s go-to concept stores for more offbeat pieces and its home to mostly Japanese designers, so be sure to check out the apparel and accessories on offer too.

Address: Tsvetnoy Boulevard 15, 127051, Moscow

KM20

Olga Karput‘s renowned concept store KM20 is undoubtedly Moscow’s coolest shop. With everything from magazines and accessories and brands like Off-White™, Balenciaga, Marine Serre, Peggy Gou’s Kirin and more all under one roof, you’ll never want to leave. In terms of trainers, it has the perfect balance of everyday and high-end brands like Nike, Prada Linea Rossa, Palm Angels, Converse and more. It’s one of the few places in Moscow where you can shop some of the more coveted sneakers drops. If all that shopping has you tired, stop for a bite to eat in the stunning, fully-serviced restaurant on the top floor.
