Kim Kardashian's Paris Robbery Is Turning into a Film
Co-written and directed by French comic book artist and filmmaker, Joann Sfar.
Not too long ago, tabloids and various media outlets reported the Kim Kardashian Paris robbery back in 2016, which traumatized the reality TV star for quite some time. According to Variety, French comic book artist and filmmaker Joann Sfar has just completed his Fashion Week graphic novel inspired by Kardashian’s incident and will be developing a French film loosely based on the robbery.
The script will have a comedic tone to it and will be co-written by Sfar and Marion Festraëts. The film will explore the themes of feminism, masculinity and patriarchy in today’s society, and will address “violence against women, the relationship between the very rich people and the less rich, the world of fashion and the encounter between figures of new and old worlds,” Sfar told Variety.
As for the plot, it will focus on a “group of older thieves who plan to rob a famous influencer during her trip to Paris and find themselves embroiled in the whirlwind of Fashion Week in the French capital.” The movie will be in French but will bring an international cast together.
A premiere date for the film has not been set yet, but Fashion Week is set to release in France in March next year.
In other news, Kim Kardashian has just announced a new SKIMS collection.
