Nike's Latest M2K Tekno Is for the Minimalists
Peep that metallic silver flash.
It seems the chunky sneaker trend is continuing, with Nike‘s now iconic M2K Tekno trainer arriving in yet another sleek colorway. Inspired by the retro Monarch silhouette, the sneaker has retained its popularity since it debuted last year and this minimal iteration is perfect for those who prefer more pared-back colorway.
The leather and textile upper arrives in clean white with the sleek cutout panelled details contrasted by areas of textured, metallic silver. White laces and a double mini Swoosh blend into the upper in white on the sidewalls, complemented by a white heel tab and Nike branding on the tongue. The signature, sculptured midsole complete with a slightly exaggerated heel counter in white adds to the statement look and is finished off by a black outsole.
Take a closer look at the kicks in the gallery above: you can cop a pair now over at Nike.com for $799 HKD (approximately $102 USD). If you’re after a more vibrant look, check out Nike’s color-blocked M2K Tekno.
