Emily Ratajkowski Is Being Sued Over an Instagram Photo

It could cost her $150,000 USD.

From Rihanna’s FENTY and Virgil Abloh‘s lawsuit for copyright infringement, E! News has just reported that Emily Ratajkowski is currently undergoing the same issue. The 28-year-old model reportedly posted a photo of herself holding a bouquet of flowers on Instagram and is being sued for $150,000 USD by photographer and professional paparazzi, Robert O’Neil.

According to the court documents, O’Neil filed the lawsuit against Ratajkowski and her company, Emrata Holdings Inc., in the Southern District of New York. The photographer claims that the model did not license his photograph of her properly and was not asked permission or consent to post it on her social account.

Ratajkowski has not yet made an official statement regarding her situation, so stay tuned while we wait for more details. In case you missed it, Ariana Grande sued Forever 21 over its new ad campaign.
